Dr. Greta Mitzova-Vladinov

Director of Clinical and Nurse Anesthesia Program, University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. Dr. Vladinov earned a Bachelors Degree in Science of Nursing from California State University Northridge, a Masters in Science of Nursing with Specialty in Anesthesia from Florida International University and a Doctoral of Nursing Practice from University of Miami.

Her academic interests are in the area of students’ clinical performance evaluation and simulation education. Latest interests are in the areas of Virtual and Augmented Reality simulation for anesthesia training. She has numerous publications and presentations on the topic on national and international meetings.

Dr. Vladinov is one of the founders of the simulation sub-committee of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and is currently serving as the chair of the committee. She has been involved with the Society of Simulation in Healthcare and with the Anesthesia Section and has served as abstract reviewer and faculty for Professor Rounds in the International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare for a number of years. She is a reviewer with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare Research Committee for Most Influential Articles in Healthcare Simulation.
